Hi from the uk

  • Hallo dort

  • Hi Jas,

I agree with CWAF, the translated Post from you is much more difficult to understand than your English might be.

Welcome from me to the "2 Stroke Community"!

How long did it take you to built up your "Body language" of your Brother's 250er RS?

  • Sorry guys!

Just used the same translator to convert my post back to english. WOAH, see what you guys mean!! WHAT THE HELL!!! I'll stick to english then because my german at the moment is very bad!

See if this is any better

I am 28. I own with my brother a 1996 RS250, amost track ready. Just missing some decals and need a trailer. It has had a full rebuild and stage 1 tune by stan stephens. Paintwork is in a simple red and white scheme, just because I had some paint left from other private jobs. I also modified a street fairing and converted it to a race fairing (no headlight) as I wanted to keep the pre 98 nose shape

I also own a 145bhp zx9r and a 2002 Yamaha R1, painted in fortuna race replica colours by me. This is being changed at the moment to 2005 Rossi test bike colours (black galoiuses) by me, cos I'm a proffesional paint sprayer.

Oh yeah, I'm an amatuer Bodybuilder too, wont help to get fast lap times !!!

  • Hi Jas,

  • Jas,

Perhaps you can tell us something about your country and especially the "racing rules" given by the police in the UK...

I think this might be a very interesting aspekt for the users here in Germany. For example: I have never been to the UK yet.

Or you can tell us about what is allowed in Motorcycles (Exhaust System, engine power, etc)

  • Hi Jas!

    Gratulations to your Motobike(s).

I`m very interested in this Tuning Kit from Stevens.
Stevens is not a kind here in Germany.
    What modifications he made?

With your amateur bodybuilding you have the same problem as me.
But don`t worry, that is a good reason to say why you are so slowly :D
Also in our drivers class the heavywheight drivers are not more slowlier than the lightwheighters with 50kg, not really (without me ).

And, in this forum many members are racetrack crazy too. So you are at a good adress I think.

So I think you has seen, that in Germany many peoples, especially the two-stroke-racers understand english.
You can write in the language you want.
But we also have members where not understand english so good.

Perhaps your german will be better if you read all our texts :face_with_tongue: :respekt:

  • Thanks for the introductions guys :)

As to the law concerning bikes here. Apart from the speed limit there isn't much we aren't allowed to do.

We can have as much BHP as we want, race cans are illegal but are tolerated and I have never been fined for mine. Only thing police do no not like are small number plates. Unless you are doing something really ridiculous then bikes are tolerated and I never have a problem. We even have a daytime MOT possible, whereby we are legally allowed to run a bike without any lights and therefore use a race bike on the road.

    Here is stan stephens website

    http://www.stanstephens.com/
    http://www.stanstephens.com/2stroke.htm
    http://www.stanstephens.com/rgv.htm

We had a full rebuild, new pistons, and stage 1 tune.
    Bike has an arrow exhaust

    and some parts from here

I will get some pics up of my bikes soon, but the 250 isn't totally ready yet
