RG 500 Verkleidung

Sehr sehr hübsch das ist, das einzigste unpassende ist in diesem fall der mikrige Rahmen.Ich denke, dass mittlerweile die zeit reif sein sollte eine RG so zu akzeptieren wie sie ist-ein 20 Jahre alter Youngtimer.

Gefällt mir auch sehr gut! Vor allem das Ram Air glaub ich, ist nicht schlecht.
Obwohl es wahrscheinlich so ist, daß die seitlichen Schnorchel von vorne kommend im Luftfilterkasten enden und der obere Deckel wohl offen bleibt. Luftfiltermäßig evt. 2 Kn's in die Schnorchel gesteckt. Saugeil halt :D

der Timothy O'Hara aus den USA war Ende 2004 in Japan, u. a. hat er Magical Raing auch einen Besuch abgestattet. Hier ein kurzes Copy-Paste, von dem, was er als Info einigen aus dem int. RG500-Mailverteiler mitgebracht hatte. Es ging seiner Zeit hauptsächlich um die CfK-Verkleidung:

I sent out something to them a couple of weeks ago. No reply. The situation is as follows: The owner made a one-off set of RG parts for his race bike that he regularly beats R-1's with. In his spare time he is making a set parts for the street. I was there in November and this is what I saw Everything was first rate. Very light, but very strong. The manager told me they were very busy and it had a low priority compared to serving their Japanese Market with parts for modern street bikes. We discussed the economics of it all. I have the details at work, but I believe he has to ship 10 sets by ship to make it work or it is too costly, but first they have to finish the prototypes. I'll try them again on Monday.
