Ok, just a quick glance follow-up....
Lots of 'zuke kit goodies...
Chassis/Suspension on #1:
Looks pretty straight. Very nasty with bugs/debris though. Swingarm has a few dings and what not. Frame looks straight. Has an official tech sticker from Suzuka racing circuit in Japan .Subframe has been hacked.
What looks to be the kit harness.
Has a "Holeshot 2" powershifter fitted.
Has the kit heat shield
Kit Gauge holder
Cool "JDM" Sugaya temp gauge
Left clipon is broke
Marchesi Front wheel!! Looks straight, going to have it checked.
Bent stock wheel out back.
Kit forks (Rebound/compression adjustable)
Ohlins rear shock, looks "new"!!
Tank is salvageable
All calipers and rotors attached.
Left rearset is bent. Not sure of the Mfg..."Code.." something?
Got a good front fender and a so/so seat!Engine:
Kit pipes, few small dents.
23D10 Kit SAPC.
Kit powervalves/breather
Dry Clutch (Looks pretty decent from outward appearance).
Kit kickstart removal mod
Looked in the exhaust ports, looks extremely clean.
Pulled the plugs, piston crowns don't show carbon.
Kit airbox mods.
Carbs are "there".
As far as kit heads or cylinders, not sure on how to identify them.Chassis #2
Stock front rim is TOAST! I'll see if I can post a pic or two, it's comical..
Rear rim looks good
Chassis and swingarm are straight, no scratches/dents.
Clipons are good, RH/LH controls are there.
Full street harness.
Stock forks/triple clamps are there.
Stock shock is present.
Has one front rotor, no caliper.
Has the rear caliper and rotor and hydraulics.Chassis #2 looks like it was purchased as a battle spare and not used. Alot of the street equipment is still there (No plastics). Didn't peek at the SAPC but wouldn't be surprised to the find the original based on outward appearance.
For right now, I'm holding on to what I have. I think there is enough here to justify building one good bike. I'm probably going to swap the good parts off Chassis #1 onto Chassis #2. I'll also fit the Ohlins and kit forks to chassis #2. As far as the engine goes, depending on how extensive the mods are, I might swap it into my RS after a freshening. I'm going to drop the motor out of chassis #1 tomorrow anyway. Easy enough to pull the barrels and take a peek while it's on the floor. Any other goodies I should be looking for?
I'm sure I missed a few bits here and there but that's the major stuff I think.
